Board Meetings

The Board normally meets three time a year. In general, meetings and the business of the Board are confidential, meetings being held "in committee".

Occasionally the Board meets to conduct competence reviews and disciplinary inquiries in addition to it's regular meetings. A typical Board agenda would include topics under the following headings:

• Administration and Finances of the Board
• Applications for registration
• Recertifcation and fitness to practice
• Education and standards
• Complaints against registered podiatrists
• Legislation 

Board meetings for 2010 have been held on 12 March, and further meetings are scheduled for 23 July and 19 November 2010.
