Board Meetings

The Board usually meets three times a year. In general, meetings and the business of the Board are confidential, meetings being held "in committee".

Occasionally the Board meets to conduct competence reviews and disciplinary inquiries in addition to it's regular meetings. A typical Board agenda would include topics under the following headings:

  • Administration and Finances of the Board
  • Applications for registration
  • Recertifcation and fitness to practice
  • Education and standards
  • Complaints against registered podiatrists
  • Legislation 

Board meetings for 2011 are scheduled for 4 February, 24 June and 28 October.
